How to Disable the nofollow tag - WordPress 1.5+
- Download the DoFollow Plugin from Kimmo Suominen
- Upload the single
dofollow.phpfile to thewp-content/pluginsdirectory of your WordPress installation. - Go to the “Plugins” section of your Admin panel and activate the DoFollow plugin.
- (Optional) You can opt to have the
nofollowappear for the first few days of a comment under the “Options >> DoFollow” section.
How to Disable the nofollow tag - Movable Type
For all your Movable Type blogs
- Go to the System Overview > Plugins page
- Click “Disable” for the NoFollow plugin listing
On a per-blog basis
- Go to your “Individual Archive Template”
- Remove the tag
rel="nofollow" from the comments portion of the template.

Thanks for this project. I’ve implemented dofollow plugin on my blog. I, too, feel that bloggers should be rewarded for their thoughtful comments.

Its ironic that many bloggers talk about this but then they actually use no follow.
